Academic Career
Attended Law School at Universidade Nova de Lisboa, from 2002 to 2007, having graduated with an average of 16 points out of 20.
Professional Career
Lawyer at Nelson Tereso Advogados since February 2012.
In 2006 had a four month curricular internship at National Elections Commission, during which she first came in contact with the practical side of law. Here she collaborated with the NEC’s Legal Office under the superintendence of its Secretary-General and took part in several projects such as: giving legal opinions and research of jurisprudence in order to update the Dictionary of Election and Referendum Legislation.
At the same time she decided to improve her English and took two exams at Cambridge, the First Certificate in English and the Certificate of Proficiency in English. Later on she attended a Legal English Course, in which she was also approved.
After graduation Ana Martinho began her internship in November 2007 and she passed the bar exam with merit in July 2010.
