The seven-pointed crown: there are seven points to the crown each one representing one of the seven virtues. The first three are faith, hope and charity, and the remaining four are the four cardinal points;
The sphere means the world;
The blindfold is Justice’s blindness and the willing to treat everyone equally, without distinction;
The sword is the balance. It represents strength, wisdom, order, rules and what conscience and reasoning dictate;
The scale represents balance, fairness and weighting of decisions in law enforcement.
